1. Raag Yaman Kalyan uses all 7 notes in ascending and descending order. All notes are Shuddh (normal) except Ma which if Tivra (sharp) and is represented by M'

2. Normally S and P are missed in ascending order i.e. .N R G and M' D N

3. Jhala is played by striking main baaj wire Da and last chikari wire Ra three times. In the notation on the left it is represented by S ; ; ; as note and da ra ra ra as strokes under it

9. In the end of the Jhala 1, merge with Gat - Sthai at X - sum - joining, and then continue playing rest of the Gat - Sthai from X till 11 and then till 16
