2. Only Alap is sung as Aaaaaa......, rest all are sung with the words. Sargam Geet is to be sung as G - G R etc. A dash ' - ' represents a gap equivalent to 1 beat.

3. Raga Yaman Kalyan has all 7 notes, all of which are pure (normal) notes except M which is Tivra (Sharp) and represented as M'.
